RAMGE TRADING LTD
Privacy Policy
How information is used when you browse, make an enquiry or place an order.
Last updated: 11 September 2026
1. Who is responsible
RAMGE TRADING LTD, company number 17092609, is the controller of personal information used for customer enquiries and orders. Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. Contact us at ramgetradingltd1@inbox.eu for privacy questions.
2. Information you provide
When you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share. This can include your name, contact details, company name, delivery address, selected products, requested sizes and quantities, and correspondence about the order. Accepted orders may also involve billing, payment-reference and delivery records.
The website’s enquiry form prepares a message in your own email application. Completing the form alone does not submit your contact details to RAMGE TRADING. You choose whether to send the email or download the summary. We do not ask for full payment-card details, passwords or identity documents through this form.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Preparing quotes and fulfilling accepted orders: steps you request before a contract and performance of that contract.
- Maintaining necessary transaction and accounting records: applicable legal obligations.
- Handling routine business correspondence, preventing misuse and protecting the website: legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, balanced against your rights.
This site does not enrol you in marketing. We do not sell personal information or make automated decisions about whether to accept your order.
4. Storage on your device
Your product selection is saved in local browser storage under “ramge-selection”. It contains product identifiers, sizes, quantities and a timestamp, not the name or contact details entered in the enquiry form. The selection is discarded on your next visit after 30 days of inactivity. You can clear it at any time through your browser’s site-data controls.
A session-storage setting remembers that the logo introduction has played, so subsequent visits in that tab show a shorter animation. We do not set advertising cookies or install analytics trackers. Images and fonts are served with the site. The hosting service may use essential security or access-control features and process technical logs such as IP address, request time and browser information.
5. Sharing and international processing
Information may be shared only as needed with hosting and email providers, payment services used for your accepted order, delivery partners, professional advisers or authorities where required. Relevant suppliers receive the details necessary to perform their task.
Some service providers may process information outside the UK or EEA. Where a restricted international transfer is necessary, an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards must be used. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your enquiry or order.
6. How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is normally retained for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact. Order and accounting records are normally retained for six years, or longer where a legal requirement or an unresolved dispute requires it. We review information against those purposes and remove it when it is no longer needed.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. We may need proportionate information to verify a request.
Providing order contact and delivery details is voluntary, but we may be unable to prepare or fulfil an order without the necessary information. You can contact us first about a privacy concern, and you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your relevant EU supervisory authority.
8. Updates
We may update this policy if the website or our handling of information changes. The date above identifies the current wording.
